Awesome Designer: Mallory H.

Co-founder and co-designer of Design of Awesome. Mallory has been making art since she can remember (which was at the age of three where she was coloring with a blue marker in the family room). She is about to be a senior at the College of St. Catherine where she is majoring in art history and minoring in: design, graphic design, and business administration. She has been designing officially for over three years and has been spending that time designing posters, postcards, logos, books, newspapers, magazine layouts, wedding invitations, and anything else her bosses & teachers tells her to make. 

Her achievements include:

The College of St. Catherine’s Orientation 2007 logo and merchandise as well as the College’s student planner, which will be for sale during the 2007-2008 academic year. These will be debuted August 2007 (until then, they are safely hidden from prying eyes, kinda like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, except with no SWAT team guarding it).

She likes books, Coca-Cola, Harry Potter, raspberries and chocolate, shoes, receiving packages and letters, and that moment of relief after finishing big projects.

She has the MBTI personality type of ENTJ, but she would also like to note that she is sweet, charming, and witty, though sometimes dorky. And likes sheep and bunnies. She is also a dog person. A BIG dog person, not a fan of those “celebutant” dogs that only eat French cheese and shiver incessantly.

She has been known to have worked in business assistant administration, reception, and retail. But she likes working as an Awesome Designer the most. It’s her favorite. She has also been known as The Printer Whisperer, who like the Dog and Horse Whisperer, can get almost any “bad” printers to work when they have gone astray.
